For the week of May 30 - June 5, 2016, U.S. brands captured 63.6 million total actions (likes and retweets) from tweets published on Twitter. Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Twitter for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below.
Golden State Warriors (Sports) was the top brand in the ranking with nearly 1.4 million Twitter actions, followed by the Bleacher Report (Media Publisher) with more than 606,000 Twitter actions. The Golden State Warriors' most engaged tweets celebrated their road to the NBA Finals, while Bleacher Report's top content was led by its remembrance of Muhammad Ali.
Starbucks (QSR) claimed third place with more than 47,000 actions, closely followed by Louis Vuitton (Fashion) with more than 46,000 actions. Louis Vuitton's new collection from Nicolas Ghesquière showcased at the #LVCruise 2017 Show in Rio de Janeiro led the brand's top tweets, while Starbucks' top tweets were led by new drinks and rewards programs.
Cricket Wireless (Telecommunications) saw the highest growth among the Top Ten at 2,815%, driven by tweets notifying its clients of services updates.
