Enterprises are becoming more and more active on various social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Youtube, Quora etc. They are no more just merely present on these social media channels, but are actively engaging with their audience.
According to this eMarketer article, 84 % of the Fortune 100 companies are using atleast one of these social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and Blogs. And 25% of companies worldwide are using all the four above-mentioned channels.
Among the marketers, Facebook and Twitter are clearly the forerunners and companies are taking a more active role like never before. eMarketers also estimates that 164.2 million Americans will use social networks as part of their online activities, which is 67% of the US internet users.
