Powered by Shareablee data, the top U.S. brands across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below.
National Geographic (Media Publisher) ranked number one overall capturing more than 21.5 million total actions, led by Instagram photos from various National Parks. NBA (Sports) ranked second with 19.6 million social actions, driven by a contest on its Instagram calling for user submissions of #NBAart which are then featured on the account.
Anastasia Beverly Hills (Consumer Goods) was third in the ranking with 5.8 million actions, featuring photos of makeup inspirations and the products used to achieve those looks.
Of the top ten, XFINITY (Telecom) saw the most growth in social engagement over the previous week at 217%. The growth was the result of 244% increase in Twitter actions and 260% increase in retweets, driven by tweets promoting Fifth Harmony's performance at the Billboard Music Awards available via XFINITY OnDemand.
