Rex Chen, a Ph.D. student at UC Irvine, contacted me to ask if I'd help spread word about a research survey he's conducting on the use of social networks in K-12 education. If you're a K-12 teacher, or know one, I'm sure he'd appreciate if you took a few minutes to complete his survey. Here's his message:
Dear Educators,
We are two Ph.D student researchers in computer science (University of California, Irvine) and education (University of Southern California) doing a research work that studies how technology, in particular Online Social Networks, can benefit learning and education for young people in the age group K-12.As part of this research, we would like to reach out to the educator community and hear your thoughts. We have formulated a short questionnaire that assess Online Social Networks. We hope you can fill out this survey, which takes less than 5 minutes.
