Culture of Content Creation
The Culture of Content Creation is a video series about people who make their own digital content to share with the world - such as blogs, podcasts, wiki entries, online product reviews or videos - to learn why they do it, what they find rewarding, and how they view their role in the world. Started in early 2008, this cultural media project from Elastic Lab continues today, reflecting changes in technology, knowledge and the social fabric of the Internet.
"The ideal American entrepreneur type thing" shines the spotlight on online book reviewer Alex C. Telander. Alex interviews authors and discusses their writing on his podcast Book Banter. What began simply enough in 2008 as Alex reading his written reviews and recording them grew by leaps and bounds on his second podcast when he was actually able to interview best selling author Brad Sanderson. He posts on a bimonthly basis and has had the opportunity to speak to a wide array of writers in the process. Alex currently has over three hundred book reviews on his site. In this video he talks about the need to continually publishing content and being passionate about your material. So grab you favorite book, relax, and watch "The ideal American entrepreneur type thing."
