Unconventional social media platforms like blogs are also redefining journalism these days where individuals are expressing their opinions on relevant issues. Almost all journalists these days have their own blogs and are active on Twitter where they interact with their followers to do their research.

This is the growing trend among the celebrities these days, so almost all celebrity chefs like Jamie Oliver, Nigella Lawson have a blog where they convert their fans to followers and interact with them on a more personal level. Sky sports have discussion panels where the fans discuss any match or up coming matches.
