You want to brand, market, and, yes, sell via social media. But say there is no Facebook or Twitter, so what do you do?
Todd Schnick, one-half of the SalesChaosTV team, says you shouldn't be trying to sell on social media anyway. You should serve, educate, help people, and engage in dialogue, this thinking goes, and as a result you build relationships that will build business.
That said, however, Schnick believes there are plenty of avenues to promote yourself and what you offer. Pinterest, for once, is a great means of communicating your brand by inserting imagery into your stories. LinkedIn also, with its more distinguished business-like environment, is another.
What about YouTube? Google+? Watch the video below to learn why Schnick and fellow SalesChaosTV anchor Dan Waldschmidt are big fans of these social media channels.
SalesChaosTV is Internet TV initially developed for publication on The Customer Collective, which was integrated this week into Social Media Today.
