Social Media Group is very pleased to announce the launch of Phase I of the Yamaha Motor Social Media Strategy. In support of the release of their new 2008 snowmobile models, Yamaha is reaching out to their community and snowmobilers everywhere with the Yamaha Sled Talk Blog. Intended as a resource and forum for "sled heads", the blog is hosted by Chris Reid, Yamaha's Senior Product and Research Manager. Chris is hoping to hear directly from consumers about what they think of the new models, the switch from two-stroke to four-stroke technology, and anything else under the sun, with the exception of product issues, which are reserved for the Customer Service Department.
Phase I of the Yamaha Social Media Strategy also includes an internal dealer blog to facilitate communications between head office and Yamaha's vast Dealer network.
