Janet Thaeler is an online PR pro who wanted to be a journalist but ended up a blogger. She has written for sites including Marketing Pilgrim, Small Business Trends, American Express OPEN Forum® and her own blog -- Newspapergrl.com. She is author of the book, "I Need a Killer Press Release, Now What?" about optimizing press releases. In 2012 she co-founded of PinAlerts, Pinterest alerts. She currently works for Avalaunch Media as the brand ambassador.
