Agreed with Kent! I think SEM is a great idea, especially for people not working or working on their SEO and not yet showing up high on search engines. It also helps for branding efforts for new businesses and so on. It all depends on the strategy but they all have their benefits.
That is true. However, things like unionizing that are protected rights are tricky and can still be fireable offences just on not terms of unionizing alone and I feel like the same can be said for employee moves made on social media. I agree with you however. I do think it is a bit brash to fire an employee for a little complaint about their day and etc. It is best for the company to reflect on the complaint rather than make such a move. I think perhaps a social media policy would let people know what might be a problem intially so they are not so shocked later if they break a rule, they can also defend themselves in a case where their social media activity does not necessarily impede on their SM policies.
Thank you! Glad you agree!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Agreed! It is very important to post blogs consistently and the more optimized the better, as well post social media updates. Especially for small businesses with little resources to pay a digital marketing agency because the benefits could be drastic and they're free!
Just to clarify co-citations are essentially the links that support your links, i.e. the refferring domains. So, for example, if I have website 'A' and I build links with sites 'B' and then there are other websites that end up linking to 'A' and 'B' then that is essentially what a co-citation is, and a good one at that (depending on the refferring domains and how good those referring domains are). Now, you can develop a link-building strategy to support co-citations and still build links.
