I've recently joined a business networking organization called BNI (Business Network International) which has quite a number of local chapters in Malaysia, especially the Klang Valley. One of the most important tools members employed for networking is the 60-second introduction slot. The following is my script .....
Good Morning. I'm Eric Lim, Director of SOHOMINIUM, located at Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park. We are a business platform for SOHOers, people who work from Small Office Home Office (SOHO). It is designed as and feels like an extra facility in a Condominium .... That is why it is called SOHOMINIUM, because ultimately there should be a "SOHOMINIUM-in-every-Condominium".
You can regard us as your personal Business Centre which you can co-own. You can also regard us as your Satellite Office which we manage for you, without having to have any staff of your own, with all the Space / Tools / Collaboration you ever wanted to startup / expand your business.
In overseas, facilities like SOHOMINIUM is more popularly known by other name such as "Co-Worked / Co-Shared / Co-Owned Business Facility" or Third Place (Home = First Place, Office = Second Place). It is supplementing and complementing the "Office-in-Every-Home" or SOHO concept.
