From April 25 - May 1, 2016, U.S. brands and properties captured 490 million total actions (likes, shares and comments) from Facebook posts. Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Facebook for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below.
Tasty (Media Publisher) scored the top spot in the ranking with nearly 9.5 million Facebook actions, also claiming the most actions per post at nearly 297,000. Tasty's most-engaged posts were video recipe tutorials for Pizza Bread Bowls, One-Pot Swedish Meatball Pasta and Lasagna Poppers. Golden State Warriors (Sports) ranked second with nearly 3.1 million actions driven by posts highlighting wins with the team's slogan #StrengthInNumbers.
Red Bull (Consumer Goods) saw a 20% growth in Facebook video actions, scoring the number three spot in the ranking, with top posts featuring videos of incredible rock climbing feats and motorbike stunts. Of the top performing brands, Pizza Hut (QSR) saw the highest growth in Facebook actions over the previous week at 2,408%, driven by a 543% increase in shares, by featuring shots of its $5 Flavor Menu.
