You've seen them, signed up for them, shared them with your friends, regretted them and finally, wished you hadn't joined in the first place.
Daily deal sites started out as an exciting concept - a group of people commit to purchasing a deal and when a specified number of people sign up, the deal is on! Once a fun way to get people together and save some money, group buying has lately become a sore spot for many online shoppers.
Why the stress?
Having to sign up a unique account for every site and having umpteen emails clogging up your inbox every morning has become a management nightmare for many.
TikTakTo
Enter our "Daily Deal Saviour" TikTakTo, whose mobile app organizes deals and products from across the Internet to make it easy for shoppers to save money online.
With 100,000 active daily deals and up to 10,000 new ones added each day, you can be sure to find what your are looking for and even compare deals to make sure you are paying the best price.
TikTakTo's co-founder Raffi Keuhnelian tells me that the app "allows its members to search for practically anything online, visualize the search results, compare the prices and products, save the product for later (TIK-ing a product) or purchasing the product directly from the vendor's website".
The Montreal-based company (Woohoo Canada!) has partnerships with over 10,000 big brands, including Groupon, LivingSocial, Hotels.com, Swavorski, Gray Line New York, Skechers and Converse. Raffi says that since their launch in April, TikTakTo has over 70,000 users and "user response to our location based deal search technology has been overwhelmingly positive".
Currently in North America only, TikTakTo is planning expansion to Europe, Asia and South America very soon - but the best part: The mobile app is available on both iPhone and Android - have a look and save some money while you're at it!
