The typical workday extends well beyond the traditional 9-5 at the office these days. Whether you're just looking to manage your business and contacts on the go, a professional ninja, or just trying to get ahead of the game, mobile professionals look to LinkedIn regardless of location. So fortunately today, LinkedIn has released a brand new mobile phone experience which completely revamped their old design, with the general professional and every day use cases in mind. Its now easier to discover and engage with rich professional insights being shared throughout the LinkedIn network, along with a more engaging stream and personalization features.
New Design
Richer stream front and center
The LinkedIn mobile app surfaces relevant and timely professional insights into your home stream. This means seeing an engaging, vibrant and visual stream designed just for you with updates, news, original posts from influencers and much more. It's also much easier to join in on conversations with liking and commenting also available directly within your stream.
Tailored to what matters most to you
LinkedIn has always been tailored to who you are, your network and your professional connections. Now the new mobile app offers even deeper personalization options via a brand new navigation page. Just slide the main homepage screen to the right to unlock a customizable navigation page, preloaded with your favorite features on-the-go.
Expanded Localization
With 64% of LinkedIn members now outside of the US, they've expanded support for more languages which include Dutch and Norwegian for the iPhone, and Turkish, Dutch and Norwegian for the Android. This now totals 15 available languages for both apps including: Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, English, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Swedish, Chinese (Traditional, Simplified), Turkish, Dutch and Norwegian.
