For the week of November 16 - November 22, 2015, U.S. brands and properties captured 71.5 million total actions (likes and retweets) from tweets published on Twitter during that time period. Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Twitter for each respective industry is shown in the ranking below. NFL (Sports) was the top brand in the ranking with nearly 553,000 Twitter actions, closely followed by Billboard (Media Publisher) with nearly 482,000 actions. These two top brands each captured at least 830% more Twitter actions than any other brand in the ranking. NFL's top tweets featured photos of the Patriots' recent win against the Giants, and gifs of funny moments throughout various NFL games. Tweets about Justin Bieber's new album "Purpose" and One Direction (and ex-bandmate, Zayn Malik) captured the most Twitter engagement for Billboard.
Of the top performing brands, HTC (Consumer Electronics) saw the highest growth in Twitter actions over the previous week at 270%, respectively. This was largely driven by a 321% spike in retweets, most of which came from its #BeBrilliant promotion of the new HTC One A9.
