Reddit announced that its artificial intelligence-powered Max campaigns are now available to all advertisers in the app, providing an automated means of building Reddit promotions. Reddit said these have driven solid results for early users.
Reddit’s Max campaigns can provide assistance with all aspects of the ad process, including targeting, creative selection, ad placements and budget allocation.

The platform launched Max campaigns with selected advertisers in January, and now it will let all advertisers tap into its AI-powered audience insights.
At the same time, Reddit is rolling out three new features for Max campaigns.
First, Reddit said its API will support Max campaigns, enabling advertisers to create and manage their campaigns via third-party tools.
In addition, the company announced a new integration with Smartly, which will allow Smartly users to create Max campaigns. Meanwhile, Reddit is rolling out asset groups to enable Max advertisers to organize multiple sets of creative in a single Max campaign.
As explained by Reddit: “Each asset group can represent a different product line or use case (ie: running shoes, training apparel, fitness accessories), and include its own headlines, media, and destination URL. Advertisers can also report on each group separately to understand which products and messages are driving performance.”
The real value here is that Max campaigns are powered by Reddit audience insights, which offer more accurate targeting based on each user’s interests and engagement actions.

That could be a valuable component. Reddit said that in beta testing, advertisers using Max campaigns saw 17% lower costs/CPA and more than 27% additional conversions on average.
This could be helpful particularly for brands looking to tap into Reddit, but that might otherwise be hesitant due to lack of platform knowledge.
