From February 29 - March 6, 2016, U.S. brands and properties captured 577 million total actions (likes, shares and comments) from Facebook posts. Powered by Shareablee data, the top brand on Facebook for each respective industry is shown in the ranking list below. Tasty (Media Publisher) topped the chart with more than 9.2 million Facebook actions. Tasty's video recipe tutorials accounted for 72% of the media publisher's content driving more than 99% of its total Facebook engagement, with top videos featuring recipes for Strawberry Kiwi Sangria and Cinnamon Sugar Cheesecake Bars. NBA (Sports) scored the second spot with nearly 3.3 million actions led by posts celebrating Leap Day as well as players and teams breaking records.
Of the top performing brands, Kardashian Kollection (Fashion) saw the highest growth in Facebook actions over the previous week at more than 2,000%, driven by a 17% increase in posts, showing the various Kardashian-Jenner sisters at the ongoing Fashion Weeks.
