David Libby is widely recognized as a thought leader around leveraging and integrating cutting edge communications technologies, social and digital platforms and traditional media. Since 1994 David has applied his creativity and marketing acumen to develop and execute award winning public relations and social media marketing campaigns for a variety of clients.
David launched his public relations career in Hollywood, where he represented a variety of celebrity clients and motion pictures on behalf of Paramount Studios, Sony Pictures and Miramax Films. In 1998, he was recruited, hired and relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area to manage the public relations initiative to redefine PIXAR, then a small production company, into a full-fledged animation studio.
Having both managed his own private practice and served as MSL Group's Senior Vice President of Digital Media, David has not only built his digital marketing acumen but also his industry expertise. He has worked with big brands, mid-sized up-and-coming players and startups and is deeply submerged in a variety of verticals, including enterprise software, media platforms, biotech, food and beverage, software security, mobile applications, web-based services, government agencies and non-profit organizations.
