Yes Oprah is now on Twitter - and we know she is a media mogul yet she's tapping into social media.
Most US authors and coaches I meet aspire to be on her show as they believe that will support their credibility and be a super endorsement for their business.
There is no denying she is a media mogul. But no I won't be following her on Twitter as like many celebrities on Twitter, she is hardly following anyone back unlike John Amaechi former NBA basket ball player, New York Times best Selling Author and one of the judges on the BBS 'The Speaker' who does connect and engage with his followers.
But what if you would like to attract media attention from the BBC, to the New York Times or even Oprah?
One of my Facebook friends is author and media consultant David Mathison who has just published a handbook with input from over fifty media experts, educators, and activists in his new book, 'BE THE MEDIA'. The 500+ page book showcases the latest ways to market and sell your books, music, films, information products and services.
In 'BE THE MEDIA', you will learn how to:
• Self-publish your book, music, film, podcast, or blog, leverage internet syndication, learn licensing, how to create radio and television shows
• Control your future by developing multiple streams of income from diversified sources
• Use surprisingly easy strategies to get massive publicity and tons of media exposure
David plans to join me on one of the Biz Growth Live shows in the near future. In the meantime I do recommend that you check out the book page he has made available for his special launch where you can also access a host of additional resources.
The book retails at US$34.95 and David realises that this is more than most books due to the wealth of resources and the size of the book however he is offering a 60-day MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
So if you want to raise your visibility and can not afford to work with a PR professional at the moment, I hope you'll take a look at 'BE THE MEDIA'. You can purchase the book online HERE.
And don't forget to leave your questions here for my forthcoming interview with David - what would you like to ask him about how to raise your visibility in the media?
