This post is long overdue. In my defence, I've been waiting for the videos from all of the sessions to be made available, that and I'm a slacker.
Many of my regular readers know that I went to Federated Media's Conversational Marketing Summit last month. It was a great event, seriously John Battelle and his crew know how to throw a serious hootenanny. If you want to watch all the presentations given you can watch them all here.
Here are my favs, but they are all worth a watch:
A Conversation with Scott Cook Founder and Chairman of the Executive Committee, Intuit
It's always worth listening to a Founder CEO who's been able to create such a strong brand. (View Video)
Conversational Media and the Big Ideal Steve Hayden, Vice Chairman, Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide
Steve had a great analogy talking about the shift from the "Big Idea" to the "Big Ideal." (View Video)
Case Study: Launching Virgin America Johnny Vulkan, Partner, Anomaly
I can't even tell you how good of a presentation this was, just watch it. (View Video)
Case Study: Hewlett-Packard and Conversational Media Daina Middleton, Dir, Global Interactive Marketing, Imaging and Printing Group, HP
If you want to see all the stuff HP (my employer) is doing then check out this presentation (View Video)
Case Study:Dove Carla Hendra, Co-CEO, Ogilvy North America
One of the better case studies to date. This case exemplifies the need for Values in today's Marketing (View Video)
The biggest shock for me was watching the big agencies pull a complete 180 from where they were just a year ago. I even had a chance to ask a few of them if a year or two ago they would have ever thought they would be saying the things they were today, none of them did.
Better late than never.
