Facebook says they retired the term "EdgeRank" and that they don't refer to their news feed algorithm by that name at all in-house because there are so many other signals that contribute to the news feed. However, if you look closely at their blog post, it's still EdgeRank, but with a twist. And if you're a brand, certain things matter more than others now like frequency of engagement and negative feedback, but some things haven't changed like type of post or type of engagement. So keep this infographic in mind when planning or reviewing your Facebook social media strategy.
