Interested in getting insights into the latest digital marketing and Google search trends to help fuel your ad efforts?
Google has announced that, for the first time, it will live-stream its upcoming Google Marketing Live event, in which it will outline a range of new updates, usage changes and more.
As explained by Google:
"Did you know that searches for "best” have increased by 80% in the last two years? For example, in recent third-party research, we saw that some people spend over 50 days searching for the “best chocolate” before making a decision.
Google Marketing Live is happening on May 14th - register now to discover how to take action on new consumer insights like these and learn about the latest digital marketing products from Google. For the first time, we'll also be live streaming 8+ hours of additional content from the event. Engage directly with product managers through live Q&A, learn new best practices, and get an inside look at how our latest products are developed."
Google has been running its Google Marketing Live conference for the past couple of years, and has used it as a platform to announce some major updates and shifts. For example, at last year's event, Google outlined major coming changes to YouTube ads, announced cross-device reporting in Google analytics and revealed that AdWords was being re-named 'Google Ads'. The significance of each is obviously relevant to your use of Google ads, but the additional note in this year's preview on specific search trends will no doubt be of relevance to many businesses.
If you want to tune into the live-stream, which is happening between the 14th and 16th of May, you can register here. Google notes that "10+ new digital marketing products will be announced" at this year's event, so it could well be worth your time. You can also read the full agenda at the above registration link, so you know when to tune in.

It may well be worth scheduling some time to listen in - especially if you're looking to make better use of Google ads.
