After announcing the addition of being able to post and schedule to Google+ pages a few weeks back, we're super excited to bring you another one of the most popular feature requests to Buffer this week: Buffer for LinkedIn Company pages.
Next to Twitter, Facebook profiles, Facebook pages, LinkedIn groups, LinkedIn profiles, Google+ Pages and App.net this is now the 8th social network type you can in Buffer.
Especially as LinkedIn has become more and more content focused with @mentions, an amazing influencer blogging program and more, it'll be exciting to see how Buffer might help to keep your stream flowing on your company page. Here is how easy it is to schedule Linkedin posts for your profile and now also company page:
How to setup your LinkedIn Company Page with Buffer
The first step is simple, just head to the "connect accounts" area inside Buffer and choose the LinkedIn company page:
After that, you'll be guided through the authentication flow from LinkedIn, simply choose "allow" and then select the page (or group or profile), that you'd like to connect:
Then, you're all set. Simply add great new content to your Buffer queue with the Buffer browser extension, iPhone app or from the Buffer Android app.
Anytime you hit the Buffer icon, just select the LinkedIn company page and schedule the post or share it right now:
Once added to your queue, it'll sit there ready to go out at the optimal timing. You can of course choose any format for posting, including images, links, videos or simple status updates:
Start posting and get full analytics for each update posted
Of course, anything that you post to LinkedIn Buffer will track for you and show you much engagement you've received on each post. That includes, comments, likes, reach, reshares and clicks.
All you have to do is hit the "analytics" tab in your Buffer dashboard and you're good to go:
You should be all set now and ready to keep your LinkedIn Company page up to date. I hope this makes it easier to keep all your partners, employees and fans in the loop on what you're up to with your company. Try it out now and connect a page:
