Here I have an excellent and fun infographic from a website called UK Businesses For Sale that provides information about the most successful fictional businesses from books, cartoons, television shows, movies, computer games and comic books including a brief description of each company and it's annual turnover.
Quite a few of the made up companies featured are involved in robotics such as Sirius from Hitchhiker's Guide, Tyrell Corp from Bladerunner and Stark Industries from Iron Man but there are also businesses in lots of other sectors including Acme from Looney Tunes which makes outlandish products that fail or backfire catastrophically at the worst possible time, Rich Industries which specialises in hotels, travel and fashion and Wayne Enterprises which operates in numerous areas including technology, shipping, aerospace, finance and more.
The fictional company with the largest turnover listed in the infographic is CHOAM, a universal development corporation in Frank Herbert's science fiction Dune universe with an annual turnover of $1.7 trillion and the lowest earning business included is Stark Industries with an annual turnover of $20.3 billion.
I hope you enjoy this quality infographic and share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc. and please let me know about any high earning fictional companies that the guys who made the piece have forgot to include in the comments section.
