Bhavishya Kanjhan has worked in various industries in Retail, Sales and Digital Media & Marketing. He is currently Director at the Computer Care Group of Companies - a chain of computer retail stores in UAE. He is also founder of TechView.me, a news site covering consumer technology, digital & startups in the Middle East.
He was the recipient of the 'Young Digital Marketing Professional' Award from World Brands Congress in 2013, and is a Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) certified Mobile Marketer.
In his last role, Bhavishya was Business Manager at 5thBar, a full service Mobile Marketing Agency in Dubai. Before that he has worked at Clique Media in Agency Media Sales and at Socialize as Intelligence Officer.
Bhavishya has put his thoughts to words in various publications - Emirates Business 24/7 , Travel & Tourism News, Gulf News and Social Media Today.com. He was also interviewed for the Social Media Across Asia wiki and is regularly featured on a technology segment on Josh 97.8 FM in Dubai.
He has spoken at various conferences including the Think Social conference held by Social Media Club Bahrain and Digital & Mobile Summit by World Brands Congress in 2013. He moderated the table on Mobile Marketing & Apps at Digital Cream Day by Econsultancy, and a table on eCommerce at Brand Us Social in 2014.
Bhavishya Kanjhan grew up with & in Dubai. After finishing his schooling, he moved to England to study Computer Science & Business Management and later earned himself a Master's degree in International Business with Marketing. He channeled his passion for all things Technology and Marketing by creating a Facebook application for Windows Mobile smartphones for his undergraduate final year software project & writing his Master's dissertation on Social Media.
