She founded her social media consulting firm in 2009 after discovering a passion for leveraging online social media platforms to brand clients and small businesses. She uses her energy and marketing talents to assist her clients in growing their business and network via social networking websites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Today, Lissa speaks at conferences around D/FW, local chambers of commerce and to groups about digital marketing, social media and the importance of online branding. She does all this while balancing her many responsibilities at Advice Local. Her primary focus is spearheading company initiatives related to branding and marketing in the local search industry. As one of the leaders in the company, she leads the content marketing and social media strategies for the company's channels.

In her spare time, you can find Lissa behind the scenes creating content, playing in WordPress and posting to the company's social media accounts, as one of the voices behind the brand.

Lissa also serves as publisher of Rocks Digital, a year-round blogging website whose mission is to provide the resources, information, and insights to stay on the forefront on digital marketing. Rocks Digital is the home website to one of the largest digital marketing conferences in Texas, Rocks Digital Marketing Conference, organized by Lissa annually.
