Founder of SoAmpli, an award-winning social selling platform that enables sales teams to sell more. SoAmpli combines human and artificial intelligence to provide the best content for sales teams to share on social media, connecting them with relevant prospects. The SoAmpli idea came out of his previous work on SoMazi, a boutique consultancy that has been delivering global social media strategy and advocacy programs with over 11 years of experience.

Maz has lived and breathed social media for almost a decade, guiding organisations such as BBC Worldwide, Sky, Ogilvy Group UK, News international and Chelsea FC to launch, structure, develop, monitor and profit from social media activity.

Having breathed new life into countless organisations using social, Maz has been named as one of the world's top 50 social media power influencers by Forbes in January 2012. Maz is also regularly asked to appear at seminars, conferences and on TV around the world to comment on the industry.

Involved in the social media sector since its inception, he set up up 2Bmates, one of the UKs first social networks in 2004, followed in 2006 by Rareface, one of the UKs first social media agencies.

He also devotes time to those just starting out and those who have reached the top of the social media game through his roles as a judge on the advisory board for the Shorty Awards, as a start-up mentor with Seedcamp and on UCL's SMILE initiative, and as a member of the advisory board for both Social Media Week and Social Media World.
