The Social Shake-Up is a conference like no other. We'll be bringing together thought leaders across the various social media niches - Big Data, Customers & Community, Social Organization, Mobile, The C-Suite, and Marketing - to converse about what's next for social.
In particular, we plan to highlight what Brian Solis, principal analyst at Altimeter Group, host of Pivot Conference, and author of What's the Future of Business? and our keynote speaker, calls "his heroes." One of these heroes is Andrew Bowins, Senior Vice President and Group Head, External Communications for MasterCard Worldwide, who will be joining us on the panel "Marketing vs. PR: Who Owns Social?"
Andrew joined Robin Carey, CEO of Social Media Today, to talk about how the Social Shake-Up has impacted MasterCard. In particular, he says, social media enables the power of Listening. He believes that the saying "We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak" is a key tenet to live by in social media communications.
Join Andrew and our other fantastic line-up of speakers in Atlanta, September 15-17th. You can register here. Then make sure to join in the conversation about the Social Shake-Up on Twitter and Facebook using the #socialshakeup hashtag.
We look forward to seeing you there!
