Barely more than three years out of American University's Kogod School of Business, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance, O'Neill is already a fixture at at conferences nationwide and has been written about in multiple national publications. Not bad for a guy who is relative newcomer to the space.
"Two years ago one of my consulting clients kept talking about these "bloggers" and I was completely unfamiliar with all the names he was mentioning," O'Neill says. "Within a matter of weeks I had learned about all the blogs, started reading them regularly and went and launched a new blog called The Webpreneur. The blog was fairly successful and I kept at it for six months until AllFacebook was launched.
"AllFacebook.com really exploded after launch and it continues to be one of my core sites," he says. "Unfortunately thewebpreneur.com has suffered but I'll be back blogging on the site soon."
O'Neill currently runs Social Times Inc. full-time and creates content for AllFacebook.com and SocialTimes.com. He also handles event production around the country.
Since launching my first blog in which I wrote about technology and entrepreneurship daily I've built my own media company, he says. "Through the blogs and conferences that I host around the country (and hopefully around the world soon), I've been able to create a sustainable business."
