So, this website may or may not contain content that stomps all over someone else's copyright. Usually it does not.
But, occasionally it does, until we take a moment to either properly give attribution or modify our content.
The U.S. House's Stop Online Privacy Act (SOPA) and the Senate's Protect-IP Act allow the U.S. government to require access be blocked to sites that are even ACCUSED of providing infringing material.
Here's the kicker: there does not have to be due process our recourse.
We stand with Wikipedia, Google, Social Media Today and a host of other great companies in saying - no thanks.
