Facebook's running a new test which enables selected advertisers to add video polls to their Facebook ads.

As you can see, the option, which was first spotted by social media advisor Matt Navarra, enables viewers to interact with the ad, with a dedicated poll included to help boost engagement.
Facebook has confirmed SMT that the ad variant is currently in testing with a small group of advertisers, though it's too early to say whether it'll be made more widely available at this stage. But it certainly looks appealing - you can imagine that many users will stop mid-scroll and pay attention, likely more so than they would with a regular Facebook ad.
Facebook does have other video poll options already, with Facebook Live polls rolled out more broadly earlier this month.

And given that users have been using Reactions as a polling device for some time, it makes sense for Facebook to add in more official interactive options to facilitate such behavior.
As noted, it's too early to say whether the video ad poll option will see a broader roll-out, but we'll keep you updated on any developments.
