November seems to be full of online activism days and weeks! Today's the Buy Nothing Day, here's another one - to end Violence Against Women:
Cheekay Cinco of APC Women writes to inform me of this campaign to end violence against women. This is a collaborative campaign by ICT users, advocates, collectives and organisations that take issue with the prevalence of Violence Against Women in our diverse realities.
Go over to the take back the tech website to get ideas on how you could participate, localize it, start it in your own community, suggest actions, and join the blogathon.
Join in and spread the word if you care.
