TikTok announced a new partnership with Made By Us Studios, which will see the studio produce a new slate of microdrama content for the app.
Made By Us Studios touts itself as a next-generation content developer “at the intersection of Hollywood and the creator economy,” and it specializes in managing creator-driven IP.
The studio produces narrative-led content featuring a range of high-profile creators, including Teyana Taylor, King Bach and Josh Peck.
TikTok will now gain exclusive rights to a selection of that content, with the platform looking to build out its vertical microdrama content pool across both TikTok and its dedicated PineDrama app.

TikTok said that microdramas have been a big winner with its audience, making this genre a bigger focus for the business moving forward.
As explained by TikTok: “Earlier this year, TikTok announced a landmark partnership with HOORAE, an Issa Rae company, to bring the micro-series Screen Time exclusively to TikTok and PineDrama. Since its April launch, Screen Time has amassed nearly 580 million views globally — becoming the top-performing show ever on TikTok and PineDrama, demonstrating growing demand for premium, story-driven content built for the For You feed.”
The partnership with Made by Us will build on this, giving the platform a broader range of microdrama content from creators with established audiences on the platform and across the web more broadly.
TikTok said that the first series produced under the partnership will be a romantic revenge thriller, starring creator Hannah Stocking. In addition, the platform will feature a new horror series starring creator Adam Rose.
