I'm pleased to report that next week's London Wiki Wednesday will go ahead on August 1st, kindly hosted by Japanese shipping company NYK, thanks to Alek Lotoczko. They will be providing the venue, food, beer and wine for the evening. It's really great that NYK are hosting the evening - it's a bit of a stretch for their marketing department, as they are hardly going to be getting many extra container sales from our attendees but we really appreciate their, and Alek's, support of this kind of technology event.

The venue is NYK Line, 17th Floor, CityPoint, 1 Ropemaker Street, London EC2Y 9NY. The nearest Tube is Moorgate, and it's on Google maps here. Please book yourself on to the wiki so that we can make a badge. On the night, check in to reception, and then head for the 17th floor.

Our topic for discussion is how do you promote contributors to your wiki, and improve on the 1:9:90 law. As usual everyone will have the chance to speak on the wiki related subject of their choice for 5 minutes. We look forward to seeing you there.
