The 2008 Sales Book Awards, an organization that recognizes books, authors, and publishers whose work advances sales as a profession, has just released this year's winners.
A panel of 35 judges rated the submissions in 10 separate categories, awarding one Gold Medal and two Silver Medals in each. Each book was rated on five primary criteria: Authority, Readability, Content Relevance, Physical Quality & Writing Style.
The Winners?
Selling to Big Companies, my book, received tons of accolades! It was a Gold Medal winner in the Classics division. Plus, it won a Silver Medal in the Sales Methodology and Industry-Specific divisions.
Getting into Big Companies, my CD program won a Silver Medal in the Sales Audio Programs division. It's focused on helping sellers crack into corporate accounts - something that's a real challenge these days.
