In the six months since the launch of Instagram Stories, the option has taken off, with more than 150 million Instagram users now engaging with the option daily. That can't be great news for Snapchat.
Indeed, TechCrunch has this week reported that Snapchat analytics providers, social media celebrities, and talent managers are all reporting declines in Snapchat Stories usage, with most seeing viewer drops of between 15% and 40%.
Of course, whether this is relevant to your business or not depends on your unique audience and which platform they use - the only true takeaway here is that Instagram Stories is for real and should be a serious consideration for your brand.
