"Is my message too long? When can I follow up? Is it offensive if I leave this never-ending group chat?"
With messaging use on the rise, these types of questions have become increasingly common, and Facebook - which owns the two most used messaging platforms in the world - wants to help alleviate that messaging angst.
In order to do so, the Facebook Messenger team recently conducted a survey of more than 3,500 people across the UK, US and Australia, in order to find out their ultimate do’s and don’ts when it comes to messaging.
They then partnered with Debrett’s, a "renowned authority on modern etiquette", to develop the first formal messaging guide of its kind.
