As AI tools become a bigger consideration for all businesses, Google has launched a new Small Business Hub which aims to help SMBs understand the latest opportunities available to them, with links to training, tools, and other resources, primarily related to the AI shift.

Google’s Small Business Essentials mini-site includes overviews of all of Google’s various business tools, including Google business profiles, its merchant center retailer tools, Google and YouTube ads, and more.
There are also links to AI and data tools, as well as tips on how to make best use of them, and case study examples based on Google listings.

The aim here is to provide more insight into how SMBs can maximize their opportunities via Google’s evolving tools, with simple overviews and guidance.
Which can have a big effect.
As explained by Google:
“Digital tools have helped to level the playing field: 82% of small businesses attribute their revenue growth directly to digital ads, and 79% say these tools help them compete with much larger companies. Through tools like Google Ads, Business Profile and Merchant Center, we can bring the best of AI to support these businesses by streamlining their advertising efforts and helping them to stand out to customers.”
Google notes that for businesses that can’t afford huge marketing teams, its latest advances can help to democratize access, and level the playing field through smarter, more customer-aligned shopping and advertising experiences.
It’s worth a look, especially for those who’ve heard a lot about AI, but haven’t yet found the time or place to try out the latest AI tools. Google’s overview provides a simplified overview of the key business AI options, as well as free trials and tips to get you started.
It could be a valuable resource for your brand.
