Sevnty five percent of recruiters are required to do online research on prospective employees. That's crazy. A couple of years ago, I had a hard time convincing my boss that promoting a manager who wrote "f my employer" on her myspace page wasn't a good idea. Of course anymore, anything you say on myspace may be safer than on other networks. Regardless, the ramifications of exposing your private life to the public are being felt and will continue to be felt in the workplace.
I'm curious to know your thoughts on this one.
