The IT Flower - new whitepaper

The IT Flower looks at only two things:

  1. Types of work
  2. How that work gets done

This framework can be used to quickly categorize all the recent developments in software, including SaaS, Web 2.0, Enterprise 2.0 tools such as blogs and wikis, web versions of MS Office and new trend towards open APIs and SOA.

The framework can also be used to identify new opportunities for massive new types of markets. I'll be posting the entire white paper as a blog post. However, in the mean time, here is a draft version in pdf format.
