The new year is a time of reflection and change for many community managers, its time to revisit your successes of the previous year. It is also a great time to the things that went wrong and improve upon them for the sake of growth of ones self and the community. This article is going to revisit the hunger and passion of a community manager to reinvigorate one's self with the passion. We should reassess our love for the profession and remember that our customers in the community are people too. Getting complacent is an easy thing to do. Being too quick to judge and react is a natural form of getting rid of a problem too quickly. Sometimes it is too quick and should be humanized rather then being reactive like a robot.
Here are a few traits community managers should put more effort in being better at. I know it can be very hard at times working in this profession, but you must pinch yourself, remember what your job is, and who you're dealing with online. I could list a lot of traits but here are a few in this short list.
