I've often found the idea of the 3D Web merging with the real world something out of the films but yet also something we would be seeing within the next 2 years or so.

I've been following virtual worlds and the ideas behind virtual for years now and have tried most environments that have been made available. Second Life is one of those environments that has captured my attention the longest because it's one of the most advanced publically available with a programming interface.
