Ive mentioned before that Im organising the next London Wiki Wednesday on February 21st, starting 18:15. The venue and the food have been kindly provided by my friends at Goodman Jones, the accounting practice that won Accountancy Ages Award for best use of the Internet. Stormhoek are providing the wine. Its at 29/30 Fitzroy Square, in the shadow of the BT Tower - nearest tube Warren Street. Â
Â
Ive written recently about BT Workplace, a collaboration platform aimed at SMEs with real potential, based on technology from SMBLive. Matt Howard, the CEO and Antonio Chagoury, the CTO of SMBLive are flying in to the UK that day and have agreed to join us to tell us some more. We also have Jeremy Ruston speaking - the man behind TiddlyWiki, which is used as the basis for SocialText Unplugged. Ill be talking a bit about Blogtronix, and we have people who are going to speak on Koral and SharePoint. Euan Semple, who started social media at the BBC, will be there to share his experiences. As well as Euan we have three members of the Enterprise Irregulars, and various practitioners, project managers, wiki geeks and even a partner in an early stage investment company, who are coming along to talk about their current projects and meet people.Â
Â
Im also pleased to announce that Microsoft will be providing the refreshments and the venue for the following Wiki Wednesday, which will probably be the first Wednesday in April. Well be deciding on the frequency of London Wiki Wednesdays as a group when we meet on the 21st. I hope you think about joining us (if you are coming, book yourself in on the wiki page).
