TikTok has announced the latest participants in its “Change Makers” program, which puts a spotlight on creators and non-profits that are seeking to “implement meaningful change in their communities through TikTok content.”

TikTok launched the first round of its Change Makers program last year, highlighting 50 participants who each took part in dedicated education and support programs to help them maximize their in-app presence.
The 2025 version will include another 50 creators, who will each be given additional training and support from TikTok over the coming months.
As per TikTok:
“Throughout this five-month program, TikTok will support these creators with training, resources, and IRL opportunities to amplify their impact as they meet each other at global events, learn from a community of their peers, and connect with leaders at the forefront of social change.”
It’s a good way for TikTok to both highlight the value of the platform for such causes, while also amplifying top creators, which could help to make it a more significant tool for good.
In addition to this, TikTok is also rolling out some new ways to enable users to support charities, and highlight personally relevant causes in-stream.
First off, TikTok’s making it easier for users to support causes that they see in the app, by adding the same cause to their own clips.

As explained by TikTok:
“Now, when creators launch a fundraiser on TikTok, anyone who sees the donation sticker, or sees the fundraiser in their TikTok bio, can seamlessly add the sticker directly into their own TikTok content by placing the donation link in their own bio and using the donation sticker in a post or story.”
So if you find a charity that you also want to get behind, TikTok’s making it easier to amplify that cause via your own content.
TikTok says that posts that include the donation sticker will also be highlighted on the fundraiser page, helping to further boost that cause.
TikTok’s also launched an existing fundraisers list in the app, where users can browse and discover a wide variety of charitable campaigns.

So now, it’ll be easier to find relevant causes to support within your clips, which will help more users boost more initiatives in the app.
This is a key area of focus for TikTok, especially amid ongoing questions about its value, and the negative impacts of the platform in many respects. Initiatives like this help TikTok showcase its positive benefits as well, and how it’s working to boost its contributions to society.
Which, as various regulators continue to monitor the app, could be important.
