Two companies were chosen to be the 'guinea pigs' for the series:
Reed's Ginger Brew, a leader in the natural soda category. Reed's is not yet doing anything int he social media space.
Forzani, a Canadian sporting goods retailer with 11,000 employees. They launched an intranet in January 2009 and aim to make it an internal social media platform.
The first of the four webinars is on the social media landscape, how to set measurable goals and how to benchmark your statistics at the start.
Reed's has great potential as there are conversations online about the benefits of ginger and an interest in natural sodas. And there is already a bit of buzz about their products.
And I am pleased that we have one external and one internal, makes for a nice balance.
