Honestly, I had no idea that CNET had such a wide range of properties under its belt. Guilty as charged of not paying a huge amount of attention to them beyond their traditional domain of great technology products coverage. Little did I know that their collection of sites delivered 141 million unique monthly visitors during its most recent financial quarter, as well as an average of 91 million daily page views -- this according to http://fool.com. If http://bnet.com is any indication of the new direction CNET is taking, then stay tuned for some pretty arresting content. Here is one of the banner promos running on the site today.Great content from a wide range of writers and influencers. According to CNET's most recent financial results press release, BNET "offers practical insight and straightforward tools that address the challenges business managers face everyday." Perhaps this is appropriate language for an earnings announcement, but there is a lot more visual sparkle and great content on this site than the language here would indicate. In fact, I just went over to http://www.fastcompany.com, figuring they are blazing new 2.0 frontiers...ummm...not exactly. Check out BNET.
