So the Twitterati are all upset because Hugh MacLeod has left Twitter. I actually agree with what he's saying - Twitter, for me, is great for inspiration, not so great when I'm trying to really concentrate on work or a specific serious blog post or other writing.
So I say, chill. Roll with it. It's OK to leave! I bet most of us will drop out temporarily, when things get busy in the real world. Or we will vary our level of involvement depending on the circumstances - for example if we're at a conference we will crank the Twitter channeling up to 11, and if we're very busy working on something we'll go offline for a while.
Hugh may be back later, and even if he isn't, I bet we'll link to his posts. He's not someone who is ever off our radar much. We should all be so lucky!
