Had a great reminder this morning about what community really is and how we must participate. As Bryan Person wrote, blogging is not community, you have to participate directly in the conversation. I had written a blog piece for our company blog, but had failed to actually comment on the discussion on the other sites I mentioned. By doing this I had forgotten the community of folks that we haven't met yet, but who might be interested in what we are saying and doing.

Thanks to Dennis for the reminder that community must go both ways and getting in on the conversation is the best way to participate.
