Earlier this year, LinkedIn announced video ads for Sponsored Content, the platform's first foray into the growing world of video ads.
The announcement came after LinkedIn initially launched its native video option last August, which has quickly become a key content option on the platform. Indeed, LinkedIn says that users are now 20x more likely to share a video on the platform than any other type of post.
