Instagram looks to be close to launching a new 'Quiz' sticker for Instagram Stories, which would provide additional creative options for boosting engagement via your Stories efforts.

This new variation of the quiz sticker was spotted by code hacker Jane Manchun Wong - an initial version of the Stories quiz sticker was highlighted by WABetaInfo in September last year.

As noted, the quiz sticker could provide additional engagement opportunities via Stories, particularly for brands looking to maximize their use of the option. You could build excitement around new product launches, gather audience feedback, and provide education about your business and products via quiz questions.
And with 500 million people now using Instagram Stories every day, it's worth businesses considering how they can make use of the function. Facebook has been saying for years now that Stories are the future of social sharing, and the latest usage data indicates that they may well be correct.

With more users becoming more accustomed to sharing via Stories, platform usage habits are changing - that's why LinkedIn and YouTube are also experimenting with Stories, and why it wouldn't be surprising to see Twitter and Pinterest look to do the same. That's also not to say they will - it's difficult to see how Stories might fit into the process on either platform. But still, how we share and engage on social is changing, and you can bet that every platform is taking notice, and considering its options.
Given this shift, and the increasing amount of engagement tools being added in, like quiz stickers, and direct response elements like shopping tags, it's worth every business considering whether they can align with this behavioral change, and maximize their audience engagement and response.
The Stories format looks set to become a much bigger consideration from here on out. Have you determined its potential for your business?
